Our first stop is Sorrento, Italy, which offers a perfect opportunity to explore this charming coastal town, famous for its scenic beauty, delicious cuisine, and proximity to iconic destinations like the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and the island of Capri.
Spend the day on a Boat Tour to Amalfi Coast on the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea, with stops in Amalfi and Positano, and return to Sorrento. The Amalfi Coast is a scenic stretch of coastline in southern Italy that runs from the Gulf of Naples to the Gulf of Salerno. It’s known for its picturesque cliffs, charming villages, and stunning landscapes. The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next we will take a quick flight to Palermo, the capital of Sicily, it is a city steeped in history, culture, and vibrant street life. With its mix of Arabic, Norman, and Baroque architecture, Palermo offers visitors a truly unique experience. While in Palermo we will attend a Wine tasting with lunch at Cantine Nicosia. The guided tour of Cantine Nicosia will include us discovering the cellar and its suggestive underground cellar and, to follow, a tasting of 4 representative wines of different varieties, lunch at Osteria, with a tasting menu composed of 4 dishes, prepared starting from the best local raw materials and designed to enhance the typical flavors of the ancient Sicilian culinary tradition and the labels chosen in combination by Sommelier.
After exploring Palermo, we will take a private transfer to Catania. Once checked into our accommodations you can begin to explore in the heart of Sicily. We will be located in the heart of Catania, between Via Etnea, the pulsating heart of this dynamic Sicilian city, and Corso Italia, the elegant shopping district filled with the boutiques of top Italian and international names. There will be plenty of time to explore, and we will also have a unique experience that will immerse you in the local culture and history of the city by participating in a Palermo Street Food Tour. The local preparations are generously offered by the marvelous sea and the rich lands warmed by the sun: this combination makes Palermo’s food offer incredibly lively and unforgettable. The tradition of selling takeaway food in Palermo comes from the melting pot of cultures who have lived throughout time in the city: Africans, Latina, Greeks, Spanish, Jews, and Arabs only to mention some.
